Bernice K. Hudson, 88, passed away November 14, 2016. She was born in Tioga, WV to the late John and Lena (Mossberg) Fidler and was an Akron area resident for most of her life.
Bernice retired from the Tallmadge YWCA and was a lifetime member of Lakemore United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Allen; brothers, Joe and Jim; and sisters, Mary and Martha. She is survived by her children, Kathryn, Roberta, Linda (Glenn) Wilcox, Lea (Ron) Wood and Kim (Mark) Herhold; grandchildren, Ted, Jacob, Veronica, Sarah, and Maddie; and great-grandson, AJ.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 1 :00 p.m. at Lakemore United Methodist Church 1536 Flickinger Rd. Akron, OH 44312, with Pastor Jeff Gindelsberger officiating. Calling hours will be at the church immediately prior to the service, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
