Betty Jo Rex, 71, passed away October 25, 2015. She was born in Roanoke, VA to the late Jennings and Reva (Duncan) Helmick and had worked as a manager in retail.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman; sisters, Mabel Burkhammer, Mary Sidwell and Roberta Smith; brothers, John and Melvin Helmick; daughter, Angela Acello; and many aunts and uncles. She is survived by her son, Steven; grandsons, Christopher Rex and Nicholas Acello; step-granddaughter, Jennifer (Chris) Adams and their three children; and brother, Harold (Brenda) Helmick.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 10:45 a.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Rittman. No flowers please.
