Betty L. Miller, 93, passed away February 19, 2014. She was born in Akron to the late Frederick and Verda (Cooley) Libby and retired with many clerical service years at the University of Akron.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Richard “Jiggs” and son, John Miller. She is survived by daughters, Linda (Lee) Stubberfield, Susan (Martyn Flunoy) Schwabe and Nancy Miller; grandchildren, Liesl Schwabe, Jon Miller, Jamie Miller and Stacey DuVall; two great-grandchildren, and sister, Dorothy Lyman.
The family of Mrs. Miller wishes to thank to the Pine Valley Care Center for their many years of excellent care.
The funeral service will be Saturday, February 22, 2014, at 1:00 p.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St. Interment at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday for ONE HOUR prior to the service, from 12 - 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1815 W. Market St. Suite 301, Akron Ohio 44313.
