Betty A. Stevison Wilson, 94, passed away March 19, 2012. She was born in Akron to the late John and Frances “Ducky” (Smith) Morron and was a lifelong area resident. She worked for many years as a waitress at Rose Villa, retired from Hoban High School as the cafeteria manager and was a member of Lakeview Church of Christ.
Betty was preceded in death by her husbands, Virgil E. Stevison and Floyd J. Wilson; granddaughter, Letitia “Tish” Walsh; sisters, Thelma Ellet and Jean Neumeyer; brother, Jack Morron; and niece, Sandy “Cricket”. She is survived by her son, Terry (Carol) Stevison; grandson, Michael Walsh; sister-in-law, Florence; 5 nieces; and several great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Crossroads Hospice for their care of Betty in this difficult time.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Thursday, March 22 at 11 a.m. with Chaplain Jim Walter of Crossroads Hospice. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
