Betty G. Bennett, 93, passed away February 9, 2014. She was born in Orlando, WV to the late Early and Virginia (Ratliff) Riffle and was and Akron resident for 67 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star, the Orioles Club #167 and Clearview United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, Argel, she is survived by her children, Patty Price, Peggy (Tom) Jordan, Michael (Leslie) Bennett and Edward (Su) Lawson Bennett; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Marie and Rose.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Pastor Linda Bradley officiating. Burial at Hillside Memorial Park. Calling hours will be on Friday, February 14, from 5 – 8 p.m.
