Beulah Mae (Litton) Hess, age 82, of Akron was called to her eternal rest on Thursday, July 26, 2012 and is now in the arms of her Lord and Saviour. At her passing she was surrounded by her family at Barberton Hospital. She was born January 28, 1930 in Lebanon, Virginia.
She is preceded in death by her husband O. K. Lee (Jack) Hess; parents James McKinley and Ellen Nash Litton; brothers Cecil Litton, Banner Litton, James Litton and sisters Irene Booth and Margie Gilbert. Beulah is survived by her daughter Lois (Charles) Harmon; three grandchildren Steve (Amy) Harmon, Stacie Harmon, and Michael Harmon (Megan); three great grandchildren Nathan, Annie, and Melanie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel from 2 to 3 pm with services to follow at 3:00 pm with Reverand Becky Verbridge officiating. Burial will be on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, in the Russell Memorial Cemetery at Lebanon, Virginia. In lieu of flowers Donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association or Open M.
