Bonnie Jean Lias

Bonnie Jean Lias, 94, passed away peacefully at her home April 8, 2021. She was born in Akron to the late La Verne and Zella Eberly, was a South High School graduate and also graduated with honors from the University of Akron at the age of 54.

Bonnie had been the Director of RSVP and was a long-time member of Family of Faith UMC (formerly Church of the Good Shepherd). She lived a good, full life and the family appreciates your thoughts and prayers.

Preceded in death by her husband, Robert, she is survived by her children, Kaye (Jim) Stoll, Cynthia (Royce) Smart, Blair Lias and Bruce Lias; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 1 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St. Calling hours will be at the funeral home for two hours prior to the service, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
