Brian R. Funk, 39, passed away October 20, 2011. Mr. Funk was a lifelong resident of the Akron area, and was a professional restaurant cook.
He is survived by his daughter, Rochelle; mother, Kathleen (Anthony) Sitarenios; father, Elwood (Doris), brothers, David and Timothy; sister, Melanie; and fiancée, Candy Johnson.
The funeral service will be Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at 1:00 p.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St. Interment Hillside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 26, ONE HOUR prior to the service, from 12 to 1 p.m.
