Carl was also a long-time, staunch supporter of the Republican Party as a booth worker and a member of the Central Committee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Maurice; sister, Ruth; and nephew, Maurice. He is survived by 9 nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and nephews; and dear friend, Joyce Traylor.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 12, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Rev. John McIntyre officiating. Interment with military honors at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, from 10 – 11 a.m.
