Carla Fay Baugher, 56, passed June 27, 2012 after bravely battling an illness. She was born in Akron and was a 1975 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. She worked for 30 years at AMR Ambulance Company, volunteered for the 4-H Club of Portage County, and was an avid scrap-booker.
Preceded in death by her mother, Jean (Malcolm) Nipper, Carla is survived by her husband, Tom; daughter, Tara; father, Albert Nipper; brothers, Steve and Garry Nipper; sisters, Cindy Brodrick, and Kathy Vess.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 12:00 p.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St. with Pastor Herbert Garnes officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for two hours prior to the service, from 10 am – 12 noon.
