Carol Ann Busson

Carol Ann Busson, 74, passed away  peacefully January 24, 2022. She was born in Akron to the late Kermit and Ann (Kline) Gerstenslager and was a Coventry High School graduate.

Carol moved to Maryland shortly after high school and served as an LPN at Howard County General Hospital and Springfield Hospital. She retired to Chincoteague, VA where she volunteered at the Opportunity Shop and she was also a member of The Red Hat Society.

Preceded in death by her daughter, Christina Busson and sister, Terry, she is survived by her daughter, Denise; grandchildren, Rickey Lester and Dylan Thompson; great-granddaughter, Ryleigh Lester; brothers, Thomas (Darlene) Gerstenslager and Glen (Kathy) Gerstenslager; and other loving relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. at East Liberty Church of the Nazarene, 700 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd..
