Catherine V. (Malinowski) Caldwell

Catherine V. Caldwell, 93, passed away September 20, 2018 surrounded by her children. Catherine graduated from Garfield High School in 1943. She loved to sit with her beloved cats as she watched her soap operas and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Her favorite pastime was working on her puzzles while listening to her favorite singer, Johnny Mathis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; son, Tommy; father, John Malinowski Sr.; mother, Virginia Patrick; brothers, John Jr. and Robert Malinowski; and son-in-law, Johnny Lee. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Lee; sons, Terry, of Apple Valley, CA and Scott (Debbie), of Odell, IL; grandchildren, Michele Carter, Jeff and Jason Caldwell, and Ozzy Henry; great-grandchildren, John (Maggie), Jenna, Janelle, Jacob Carter, Zachary, Andrew, and Aaron Caldwell, and Reign and Drakken Henry; and great-great grandson, Jaylen Carter. She was a much loved mother and grandmother. The family would like to give special thanks to Tricia Morgan, and nurses Sue, Tara, Sherry and Cynda from Summa Hospice. Calling hours will be on Sunday, September 23 from 2 - 4 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Monday, September 24 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Raymond Smith officiating with burial at Hillside Memorial Park.
