Charles L. Engle, 37, passed away January 6, 2010. Born in Akron, he was a resident of Cuyahoga Falls for most of his life and was a 1992 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. He had worked for Rice’s Nursery and he loved music and basketball.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Cogar; grandmother, Lorraine Hines; great-grandmother, Helen Lehman; grandfathers, Robert Holmes and Charles Rider; uncle, Robert Holmes Jr.; and aunt, Terease Burke. He leaves behind his son, Nathan Viola-Engle; the mother of his son, Wendy; parents, Becky and Charles Rider; sisters, Tanya (Jeff), Brenda and Lindsay (Doug); brother, Charles; nieces, Haley, Kylie and Stephanie; nephews, Anthony, Steven and Colton; grandmother, Sheila Rider; uncle, Terry Holmes; and many other loving relatives and friends.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Bill R., Marcy, Michelle, Roger, Linda and the rest of the Wyant Woods Nursing Center Staff of Hickory Hall, and to Andrew from EverCare.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Calling hours will be at the funeral home on Monday, January 10, from 4 – 7 p.m.
