Cody James Bondurant, 27, passed away unexpectedly on November 25, 2013. He was born in Akron and was a 2005 Ellet High School graduate.
Cody was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and 4-wheeling. He had a great sense of humor and could cheer anyone up and most of all, he loved his family. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his mother, Jodi (Larry) Burgy and father, Joe Bondurant (Becky); brother and best friend, Hunter; brother and sister, Joey and Melissa; 5 nieces and nephews; step-brother Briar and step-sister Wren; grandparents, Jim and Diane Smoot and Jim and JoAnn Bondurant; long-time close friend Tricia; and many loving relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 2, 2013 at Cornerstone Free Methodist Church, 578 Killian Rd., with Pastor Brenda Young officiating. The family will receive friends at church for two hours prior to the service, from 3 – 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in Cody’s name at any local First Merit Branch.
