Cynthia M. Johnson, 72, passed away December 5, 2011. She was born in Barberton, OH to the late Ralph and Evelyn (Shaw) Houk and lived most of her life in Akron where she was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness West Akron Congregation.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ed and Ralph. She is survived by her daughters, Sherri Howe and Robin Hamrick; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and brother, Wayne.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 12, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Mr. Melvin Mosley officiating. Interment at Glendale Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service, from 1 – 1:30 p.m.
