Daniel F. Marr

Daniel F. Marr, 51, passed away suddenly October 22, 2024 from a heart attack. He was born in Akron and was a 1991 graduate of St. Vincent St. Mary High school, where he excelled in basketball and golf.

Dan was currently a salesman for Shoemaker Rigging and Transport and previously worked for Durbin Industrial Valve. He was an accomplished amateur golfer, competing in many prestigious events, as well as competing for many years on the ADGA. More than anything, Dan was charismatic and thoughtful of others. His infectious smile lit up a room and he was loved by so many. He will be deeply missed.

Dan is survived by his devoted parents, Frank and Cathy (Wozniak) Marr; brother, John Marr; nephew, Joseph; son, Kyle (Sabrina) Hrabusa; uncles, Mike, Ed (Sylvia) and special uncle Ray Wozniak; aunt, Dianne (Frank) Manning; and many loving cousins, relatives and countless friends. He will be joining his nephew Jake in heaven, along with his grandparents, Stanley and Helen Wozniak and Frank and Mary Marr; aunts, Bernadette Gaiser and Linda Schwendiman; and uncle, John Wozniak.

A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 1 – 4 p.m., with a special time for friends and family to share their memories and stories starting at 3:00 p.m., at Prestwick Country Club, 3751 Glen Eagles Blvd., Uniontown, OH 44685.
