Daniel Robert Wilkey, 53, beloved father, grandfather, son and brother, died suddenly January 6, 2012. He is survived by son, Dan; grandson, Dominic; parents, Robert and Nancy; sisters, Linda (Bill) Wise, Vicki (Dave) McClure; brother, Perry (Kristen) Wilkey; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who loved him.
The memorial service will be Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44305 with Rev. Bob Denton officiating. The family will receive friends TWO HOURS prior to the service from 5 – 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the Wilkey family requests that individuals make donations to the Best Practices in Schizophrenia Treatment (BeST) Center, c/o the NEOMED Foundation, 4209 State Route 44, Rootstown, Ohio 44272.
