David M. Hoyt

David M. Hoyt, 92, passed away April 13, 2023. He was born in Norwalk, CT to the late Marshall and Mabel (Munhall) Hoyt and was a graduate of Colby College in Maine.

David was a proud Navy veteran of the Korean War and retired from General Tire/Continental Tire. He was also a long-time, active, respected and loved member of St. John's Episcopal Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rose; son, David Michael; sister, Marion; and brother, Richard. He is survived by his children, Dawn (Scott) Bellinger and Daniel (Sarah) Hoyt; grandchildren, Matthew, Annelies, Joseph, Marissa, Robert and Marshall; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 step great-grandchildren; dear friend and caregivers, Frances “Sissy” and Dean Kosco; sister-in-law, Dorothy Hoyt; and other loving relatives.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and he will be laid to rest with Rose at St. John's Episcopal Church at a later date.
