David A. Robbins, 45, passed away unexpectedly on April 30, 2011 as the result of an accident. He was born in Akron and was a lifelong resident where he was self-employed in construction. He attended Family of Faith United Methodist Church and was an avid softball player and sports fan, especially his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes.
Preceded in death by his father, William, he is survived by his wife of 12 years, Wendy; daughter, Samantha; mother, Beverly Kozy; brothers, Don and Dale; sisters, Deanna Loll (Kevin) and Darla (Mark) Christopher; nieces and nephews, Angie, Eric, Lydia, Sean, Lillie and Ashley; and many other loving relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 11 a.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Rev. Ron Schultz officiating. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday, May 2, from 4 – 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Samantha Robbins Fund at any Charter One Bank.
