David H. Stewart, 63, passed away March 12, 2012. He was born in Akron to the late Charles and Audrey (Howard) and was a lifelong resident. He was a graduate of East High School, worked as a manager for Morgan’s Truck Stop and attended Willard United Church of Christ.
David was also a wonderful foster-father to Sarah, Michelle and Randall and he loved working on cars and fixing things, as well as spending time at Choices.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his aunt, Isabel Davis. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Janice; brothers, Charles (Beverly), George (Lynette) and Bruce (Sandy); and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2012 from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St. The funeral will be at the funeral home on Friday, March 16, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Sam Martin officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
