Delores Colean Fout, 83, passed away May 9, 2013. She was born in Akron to the late Lemeul and Ruth (Bartlett) Hodges, was a graduate of East High School and retired from Dominion East Ohio. She had been an avid golfer, loved playing computer games and was an extremely giving and caring person. She always made the holidays special and she will be sadly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison “Harry”; sister, Elizabeth Murphy; brother, Richard “R.D.” Hodges; and beloved puppy, Casey. She is survived by her niece, Karen (Richard) Esque; great-nephew, Rick and his daughter, Rachelle; great-niece, Michelle and her children, Brandon and Hannah; great-great-great niece, Elizabeth; step-children, Eric, Blaine (Tracy), Gary, Terry (Robin) and Scott; and step-grandchildren, Taylor, Mackenzie, Billy, Andy and Jacob.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Rev. Michael Mancari officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, from 10 – 11 a.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
