Delsie E. Simmons, 89, passed away September 14, 2014. She was born in Spencer, WV to the late John and Lenora (Davis) Palmer and was an Akron resident since 1942. She loved gardening, birds and working with flowers.
Delsie was preceded in death by her husband, George; grandson, Robert Yankovich; 5 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by her children, Maria Yankovich, Alan (Sherry) Simmons, Lana Ando and Karen Jones; grandchildren, Kris, Natasha, Norman, Ashley, Mallory, Jared and Cory; 3 great-grandchildren; and sister, Earlene Fox.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to Crossroads Hospice and also to special friend, Monica.
A private graveside service will be held at East Akron Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
