Denise K. Carlone

Denise "Dee" Carlone (Ellis), 63, of Akron, Ohio, was called to her eternal rest August 29, 2024, after a valiant struggle with cancer. She bore her illness with remarkable poise and fortitude. Born November 16, 1960, Denise was the cherished daughter of Donald W. Ellis and Janice Frese. She leaves behind a legacy of love and memories to her bereaved father, Donald W. Ellis; her mother, Janice Frese; her loving son, James Carlone, 2 grandchildren, Justice and Jaycen; her sisters, Donna Mitchell, Jonae Peck-Simpson, and Rebecca Frese; brother, Daniel Ellis; her dear cousin, Susan Bowman, many other cousins, nieces and nephews and her beloved cat, Missy. Denise joins in peace her late brother, Donnie Ellis and step-mother, Sherrie Ellis. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life to honor the life of Denise on Sunday, September 8, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Ozzy's Nottingham Pub, located at 1390 Brittain Rd, Akron, OH 44310. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers and friends who supported Denise during her final journey. May she rest in peace.
