Thanks to everyone at the Veteran’s Hospital in Cleveland, especially Dr. Nicole Williams, oncology nurse, Brigitte Kanjuka and Veteran’s Service officer, Iris DeHart.
A heartfelt thanks to all those at the Hospice Care Center on Ridgewood Road, especially nurse, Chris Daianu, to whom I will be forever grateful.
LeeRoy was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He enjoyed NASCAR racing and spent many weekends at the race tracks in the area. He was a camera buff and video-taped the races at several tracks. His friends and car drivers got together once a year to view his tapes of the races. To all of his friends at the race tracks, I would like to say thank you for giving him so many good times and great memories.
Cremation has taken place, and per his request, there will be no services.
Should you wish, donations to The Hospice Care Center at Ridgewood Road and the Humane Society of Greater Akron.
