Donald R. Carpenter, the love of my life, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 15, 2013 at the age of 57.
He was born in Akron to the late Richard and Mary (Harris), was a graduate of Garfield High School and owned the Park Place Pub.
Preceded in death by his brother, George, he is survived by his wife, Tonya; daughters, Elizabeth (Jeff) Burr and Allison Carpenter; step-daughters, Karla and Katelyn Jefferys; step-son, Brandon Jefferys; grandson, Miles Burr; brother, Bill (Cheryl) Carpenter; sister, Barb George; many nieces and nephews and many good friends at Park Place and The Windsor.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 1 – 3 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St.
