Doris H. Abbott, 85, passed away October 5, 2013. She was born in Middletown, NY to the late Harrison and Bertha (Bennett) Hulseapple and had been an Akron resident since 1956.
Doris was a registered nurse, working at Timken Mercy Hospital for 26 years and later, at House of Loreta Nursing Home. She was also a member of Community Baptist Temple.
Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur “Roy”, she is survived by her sons, James (Cindy) and Dale (Kimberly); granddaughters, Jillian and Emma; and sister, Marge Fritsch.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 11 am at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Pastor Mark O'Donnell officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
