Doris M. Saloiye

Doris M. Saloiye, 85, passed away March 17, 2024. She was born in Akron to the late Pat and Mary (Keim) Corbett, was a Garfield High School graduate, and worked for General Tire for many years.

Doris was a devout wife, mother and grandmother whose family meant everything to her. She will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert and brother, Don. She is survived by children, Joseph Saloiye, Lisa (Alan) Lawrence and Marie (Pete) Rickmann; grandchildren, Robert, Faith, Drew (Kaylee), Daniel and Preston; great-grandson, Henry; brothers, Jim and Tom Corbett; sister-in-law, Becky; lifelong friends, Kay and Marilyn; and other loving relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Rev. Ron Shultz officiating. Calling hours will be at the funeral home for 1 hour prior to the service, from 10 – 11 a.m., with burial at Uniontown Greenlawn Cemetery.
