Dorothy M. Hanes, 70, passed away Friday, August 22, 2014. Born in Akron to the late Ralph and Grace (Schaffer) LeBarre, she was one of 14 children and resided in the Akron area all of her life.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Tim; sister, Pat (Jerry) Watson and brother, Derrill (Loretta) LeBarre. Dorothy was also “Aunt Dot” to a multitude of nieces and nephews, who were her pride and joy.
Friends may call Friday, August 29, 2014 at the First Church of God, 464 Northeast Ave., Tallmadge, OH 44278, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. A memorial service will immediately follow at noon with Pastor Josh Deeter officiating.
