Douglas Ray Cain

Douglas Ray “Doug” Cain, 71, passed away unexpectedly May 24, 2013.  He was born January 21, 1942 in Suffield, OH to the late Ray and Vi (Day), served our country in the U.S. Army and retired from the Akron Public School system.

Preceded in death by his brother, Donald, he is survived by his sister, Nancy (Richard) Marsh; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 2 – 4 p.m. at Oak Hill Presbyterian Church, 2406 Ardwell Avenue, Akron, OH 44312. Burial will take place with military honors on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman, OH 44270. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Oak Hill Presbyterian Church.
