Earl L. Gallion, 84, passed away September 9, 2011. Born in Killbuck Ohio, he lived most of his life in the Akron area. After graduating Ellet High School in 1945, Earl enlisted in the US Navy, and served his country during WWll. Mr. Gallion retired from Mohawk Rubber in 1989, after 39 years as a supervisor, and he was also a long time and faithful member of the First Church of God, Tallmadge.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda L. Richards. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Wilda; daughters, Debbie (Dick) Whetstone and Becky Gallion; sons, Greg and Tom Gallion; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.
The funeral service will be Monday September 12, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., at the First Church of God 464 Northeast Ave, Tallmadge Ohio, with Pastor William Wimmer officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church on Monday, September 12, ONE HOUR prior to the service, from 10 to 11 a.m.
