He proudly served in the Navy and Marines as an Aviation Mechanic and was a mechanic on heavy equipment for many years.
Edward is survived by his son, Edward Jr. (Sophia); daughter, Sarah (Jesse) Petty; mother, Sheila Buffington; seven grandchildren; mother of children, Connie Buffington; fiancé, Patty Suppa; best buddy, Tucker; sisters, Vicki, Cheryl, and Susan; and brother, Gary (Missy).
A graveside service will be held in his honor at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman, OH 44270, Friday, May 25, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. with Rev. O. Homer Burket officiating. Military honors conducted by the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
