Edward D. Smith, 67, passed away November 13, 2011. He was born in Akron to the late Clarence and Genevieve (Hosaflook) and was a lifelong resident where he graduated from Garfield High School. He was a veteran of the US Army and had worked for many years at Corporate Express. He was a member of the Zeppelin Gun Club and traveled to several dog shows as a skilled trainer.
He is survived by his brothers, David and Gordon; 7 nieces and nephews; 7 great-nieces and nephews; 3 great-great nieces and nephews; and other loving relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Rev. Sam Martin officiating Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, from 10 – 11 a.m.
