Eleonore G. McLaughlin, 89, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 27, 2014 with her daughter by her side. Born in Mansfield to John and Christine Angebrandt, she resided in the Akron area most of her adult life where she worked for Firestone during WWII and retired from the M. O'Neil Co. Eleonore served as Treasurer for the Women's Federation and graduated from Rootstown High School and also attended Hammel Business College.
Preceded in death by her husband, Hugh L. McLaughlin, she is survived by her loving daughter, Kathleen; grandson, Zachary Hugh Martin; great grandson, Dylan James Martin; and brother, Arnold Angebrandt.
A memorial service will be held Friday, August 1, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home & Chapel, 760 E. Market St. Friends may call Thursday July 31st between the hours of 5 and 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
