Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Kirk) Wagner

Elizabeth A. “Betty” Wagner, 97, passed away August 7, 2022. She was born in Hillsboro, OH to the late Roy and Erma (Coffman) Kirk and grew up in Mogadore, where she was a Mogadore High School graduate.

Betty moved to Ellet where she lived most of her life and retired from N & W Railroad. She was devoted to her family and will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne; children, Dawn and Wayne; brother, Roy Jr. “Bud” (June) Kirk; and nephew, James Kirk. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Townend; grandchildren, Noel, Shane, Nicki, and Jessie; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Lila and Sylvie; special friend, Valerie Smead; and other loving relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 6 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Pastor Joe Burkhardt officiating. Calling hours will be at the funeral home for two hours prior to the funeral, from 4 – 6 p.m. Private burial at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Haven of Rest.
