Elizabeth A. (Betty) Johnson passed away at the age of 72, and went home to be with her own mother on Mothers Day on May 8, 2011. Born in Akron, she lived her whole life in the Akron area.
Betty will be watching over her three children, Laurie Magyaries, Brian Magyaries and Lisa Johnson. She is also survived by grandchildren, Stephen, Rickie, Josh, Adam, Robert, Tabitha, Samantha, Cortney and Hannah; and great-grandchildren, Michiel, Matthew, Landon, Riley, Carter, Quinn and Marley.
The funeral service will be Thursday, May 12, 2011, at 1:00 p.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Rev. Mike Prebynski officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 11, from 5 to 7 p.m.
