Ruscoe Company in Kenmore.  After her husband passed away, she cleaned homes to support her family and was a member of the Eastern Star.

Betty enjoyed going to horse races with her husband James and loved to travel, including cruises to Asia and Alaska. Anyone who ever visited her home also knew she was a collector of many beautiful things:  fine china, crystal, and figurines, many of which she accumulated at the many many auctions and yard sales she visited.

She was also an avid bowler, dancer and card player, and her hobbies included caning, refinishing antique furniture, sewing, crocheting, and "gambling" on Bingo.
