Emma served in the U.S. Marine Corp during WWII, was a member of AARP, Woman Marine Association, Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion. She also served as WWI Liaison for the Woman Marine Assoc. for 30 years, which won her the Molly Marine Award in 1970 and the National Service Award in 1976.
Emma is survived by her nephews, Dennis and Richard, and nieces, Linda and Karen.
Per her wishes, services and interment will be held privately. Memorials can be made in her name to The Haven of Rest Ministries, 175 E. Market Street P.O. Box 547 Akron, OH 44309-0547.
