Esther Bond, 89, passed away September 6, 2013. She was born in Canton Ohio to the late Ronald and Jane (Jarvie) Bobo, and lived most of her life in the Akron area. Mrs. Bond retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber as an order analysist with 38 years of service. She was a long time member of the Salvation Army, and was a Captain for 10 years serving the Lord.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, William.
The funeral service will be Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., at the Salvation Army Citadel, 190 S. Maple St. Akron Ohio. Interment will be at the Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman Ohio. The family will receive friends at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home, 760 E. Market St, on Tuesday September 10, from 5 to 8 p.m.
