Florence M. Poling, 71, passed away August 22, 2015. Born in Akron to Elmer and Mary Elizabeth (Wilhelm) Johns, she was a lifelong area resident and enjoyed bingo, crossword puzzles and watching the Sci-Fi Channel.
Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; son, Lee; and siblings, Joseph, John, Harry, Barbara and Betty. She will be sadly missed her by son, Barry Cannon; daughter, Brenda (Russ) McCune; grandchildren, Mary, Michael, Ericka (Noah), Courtney (Tyreese), Ryan and Barry, Jr.; great-grandchildren, La’Neitrah, Malaysia, Austin, Eli, Echo, Ava and Eniya; special friends, Dee and Rosie Westfall; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home & Chapel, 760 E. Market St. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Thursday, August 27, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dave Horner officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
