Floyd E. Chupp

Floyd E. Chupp, 63, passed away August 23, 2024. He was born in Jamesport, Missouri to the late Melvin and Edna (Miller) Chupp, was a long-distance truck driver for 22 years, and worked alongside his brother-in-law Roger with First Call Service the last 20 years. Floyd was an avid fisherman, loved boating, and was an outstanding handyman, able to build or fix just about anything. He also loved his family, especially his grandchildren, deeply. He will be sadly missed. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Susie. He is survived by his wife, Valerie Marshall-Chupp; children, Sarah (Mike), Richie, John and Leeann; grandchildren, Autum, Abigail, Elizabeth, Daniella, Preston, Zach and Phoebe; siblings, Amos (Angie), Paul (Linda), Alvin (Joyce), Calvin (Belinda) and Joyce; brother-in-law, Roger Hoover; sister-in-law, Diane (Joe); and many other loving relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at 3 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44305 with Chaplain Don Bolich officiating. Calling hours will be at the funeral home for two hours prior to the service, from 1 – 3 p.m.
