Frances L. Haberkost, 88, went home to be with her Lord April 5, 2016. She was born in Richwood, WV to the late Earl and Mae (Underwood) Cutlip and was an Akron resident for most of her life. Frances retired from Summa Health Systems (Akron City Hospital) with 29 years service, was a long-time active member of St. John Lutheran Church and was past president of ABWA. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; 3 brothers and one sister. She is survived by her children, Michael (Pam), Sherry (Tim) Eddingfield and Judy (Tim) Sikora; and grandchildren, Jonathan, Jason and Terri. Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 11, 2016 from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home, 760 E. Market St. The funeral service will be Tuesday, April 12 at 11 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, 550 E. Wilbeth Rd., with Pastor Mark Hanchett officiating. Burial at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John Lutheran Church in memory of Frances.
