Frances M. Morris

Frances M. Morris, 67, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family March 19, 2024. She was born in Akron to the late Clayton and Thelma (McCollum) Bartenschlag and retired from the Summit County Sheriff’s Office with 30 years of service as a 9-1-1 dispatcher.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie. She is survived by her children, Tonya (Eric) Lee, Christy (Brian) Dixon, and Trey Morris; grandchildren, Joscalynn (Bryan) Fettler, Kristian (Amanda) Lee, Dominic (Grace) Lee, Kameron Lee, Michael Fettler, Sarah Dixon, Lucy Dixon, William Dixon, Samuel Dixon, Hailey Morris, Hannah Morris, and Andrew Morris; great-grandchildren, Hannah Fettler, Aaron Fettler and Jaxton Marzano-Lee; sister, Patricia Secreto; and many other loving relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 12 noon at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44305 with Pastor Todd Schreiner officiating. Calling hours will be at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, from 11 a.m. – 12 noon.
