Frank Robert Peden, 80, passed away surrounded by his loving family March 31, 2016. Born in Akron to the late Frank and Elizabeth (Zuver) Peden, he lived in Akron his entire life. Frank taught elementary school for 30 years as well as working hard as a roofer. After retirement he enjoyed volunteering at the Barberton Adventist Community Service Center. He and his wife Frieda are longtime members of the Barberton Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Frieda; children, Christine (Leland) Haddix, Susan (Dan) McCullaugh, Bonnie Peden, Frank (Cherie) Peden, Linda Peden and Carol Peden; grandchildren, Joshua, Faith, Robbie, Sarah, Antoinette, Esther, and Charissa; great-granddaughter, Angelina.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 4, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home & Chapel, 760 E. Market St., as well as on Tuesday from 12 – 1:00 p.m. The service will be held on Tuesday, April 5th at 1:00 p.m. with Pastors Chester Hitchcock and Eric Kotter officiating. Interment at East Akron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Barberton Adventist Community Service Center, 223 2nd Street NW, Barberton, OH 44203.
