Gail A. King, 62, passed away peacefully April 27, 2017 with her family by her side. Born in Akron to Paul and Irene (Cutlip) Bowers, she was a lifelong area resident and worked for 11 years at Heather Knoll. Gail greatly enjoyed fishing, yard sales, thrift stores, camping and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sister, Sarah Hutchins; and brother, Paul Bowers. She will be sadly missed by daughters, Deborah King, Patricia (David) Jodon; grandchildren, Keera, Rachelle, Domonic, Dayvon; siblings, Izzy Bradford, Buddy Bowers, Gene Bowers, Birdy Albright, several nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may call Tuesday, May 2, 2017 between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home & Chapel, 760 E. Market St., Akron. The funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m., with Rev. Gerald Ivery officiating.
