Gary was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was a life member of the Mogadore VFW 8487. He also belonged to the DAV Chapter 16 in Sandusky, was a member of M.A.P.S. and loved spending time riding his motorcycle.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Virginia; and brothers, baby Hoy and Raymond. He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Carolyn McManus; step-son, Chris (Mary) Hilligas; 3 grandchildren; brother, Dave; sisters, Carol Sullivan, Rose Beal and Donna Hoy; many nieces and nephews; and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday, November 2, 2012, at 10 a.m. at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Rittman, OH 44270.
