Baby Genesis Scoggins Horton, born August 9, 2026 passed away September 24, 2026.
Preceded in death by her great-grandmother Lila, she is survived by her mother, Grace Horton; father, Jashaun Scoggins; grandparents, Lashonda (Khalil) Miller and Charise (James Jr.) Jordan-Scoggins; great-grandparents, Cynthia Horton and Alex Horton Jr.; Aunt Isabelle (Juan) Perez; uncles, Jaquan, B.J. and Von; and many other loving relatives.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 12 noon at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home, 760 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44305 with Pastor Cynthia Horton officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, from 11 a.m. – 12 noon.
