Georgia "Louise" (Hull) Pritchard

August 11, 1915 — May 23, 2012

Louise Pritchard (nee Hull), 96, passed away May 23, 2012. She was born in Akron to the late Harry and Valeria (Collett) Hull and was a lifelong resident.

Louise worked at Goodyear during World War II as a Rosie the Riveter, helped her husband run the family business for many years and loved crocheting. She was also the oldest living member of the Akron First Seventh-day Adventist Church, attending for 71 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Fred Sr., and brothers, Harry, Ralph and Ernest. She is survived by her children, Dean (Brenda), Fred Jr. and Joan; 6 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; sister, Betty Harlin; brother, Neal (Karen) Hull; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held TODAY, May 25, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Pastor Ted Bartter officiating. Interment at East Akron Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, from 12 – 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Akron First Seventh-day Adventist Church, 655 E. Waterloo Rd., Akron, OH 44306.
