Georgia C. Wilborn, 80, passed away September 4, 2014. Born in Overton County, Tennessee to the late George and Ona (Harvey) Wilborn, and was an Akron resident for 60 years.
Georgia is survived by her children; Paula (Marlin) Brown, John Pleskach, and Kathy (Mark) Chrislip; grandson, Michael (Emily) Brown; and great-grandchildren, Brody, Ashton, Lane and Luke George.
The funeral service will be held Monday, September 8, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St. The family will receive friends ONE HOUR prior to the service from 12 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial gift may be made to the charity of one’s choice in Georgia’s name.
