Gladys worked as a hairdresser after high school and was a long-time member of The Chapel. She loved to crochet and make clothes for her family, and especially loved playing the organ for her grandchildren. She dedicated her life to her family and her Lord and she will be sadly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert; brother, Harold; and sister, Deloris. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Robert) Goins and Linda Holden; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Ireta (Tim) Carter; sister-in-law, Wilma; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Per her wishes, a private graveside service was held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Donations may be made in her name to the Haven of Rest, PO BOX 547, Akron OH 44398-6610.
