Gloria L. Tingler (nee Moyer), 93, passed away February 5, 2017 at her residence. Born in Akron to Marion and Laura (Cooper) Moyer, she was a lifelong area resident and she attended the Akron Baptist Temple. Gloria loved playing bingo, reading romance novels and spending time with her family. A very special thank you is extended to everyone who cared for Gloria in her final days, particularly Summa Hospice nurses, Christine and Adrian.
Preceded in death by husband, Kenneth, Jr; sons, Kenneth III, Robert and Gary; granddaughter, Marie; grandson, Jeff; and several siblings, she will be sadly missed by her daughter, Virginia Bokoski; sons, Cecil (Rosey) and Jerry; 11 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sister, Corliss Schulz; dear friend; Delta Kidd; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Calling hours will be Friday, February 10, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home & Chapel, 760 E. Market St. with the funeral service immediately following at 1 p.m. Chaplain Michael Shaub will officiate. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
